Meet Xenia, our working student in the Procurement Department. With a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from the Hochschule München University of Applied Sciences currently pursuing her Master's in Procurement and Supply Management, Xenia brings a fresh perspective to our team. Before joining us in October 2023, Xenia honed her skills in supply chain management at Webasto Group and Knorr-Bremse AG, where she excelled in roles focusing on KPIs and demand planning. At municHMotorsport e.V., she served as a team lead for human resources, further showcasing her leadership and expertise. We are proud sponsors of municHMotorsport, and a year ago, we hosted a BBQ to kick off their season, reinforcing our commitment to supporting and engaging with the team. Alexander, our Co-founder and Chief Engineer, will be representing DeepDrive at the MTZ-Fachkongress Zukunftsantriebe in Chemnitz from 14th to 15th May. Join him and Dr. Gereon Hellenbroich from the FEV Group on Wednesday, 15th May, from 8:30 to 10:00 AM for a presentation on advancements in electric drive technology aimed at reducing both acquisition and operational costs for electric vehicles. Their session will first delve into our patented base technology: the DeepDrive Dual Rotor, which significantly enhances efficiency and reduces component costs through optimised material use and streamlined manufacturing processes. Following this, they will focus on one of our key products: our single-speed Central Drive. This drive is meticulously optimised for efficiency and cost, featuring a streamlined coaxial gearset architecture with a single layshaft that simplifies construction while maintaining high performance. It incorporates a semi-passive transmission lubrication system, designed with a minimal centrifugal oil pump that optimises oil transportation and distribution, effectively reducing maintenance needs and enhancing longevity. Additionally, the unit utilises only seven bearings and two shaft seals, further contributing to its cost-effectiveness and reliability. We will also highlight our innovative option: a roller-based, rotor-integrated park lock system, developed in collaboration with FEV Group. This system offers significant functional improvements over conventional park lock systems, including reduced wear and enhanced operational reliability. We took part in the Wings for Life World Run: A global event where all entry fees are dedicated to funding spinal cord research. This race is unique as participants from various locations start simultaneously, and continue until overtaken by a catcher car, ensuring everyone eventually crosses the finish line.   We are happy to note that some DeepDrivers took part in the rallies yesterday, together with over 12,000 others. Overcoming all these initial hiccups, which included walking many phases due to the size of the crowd and a sudden rain shower, lasting about 30 minutes or so, they finally completed the race with laudable determination.   Congratulation to Maximilian, Felix, Paul, Tobias, Tobias, Simon, and Alexander to such great achievements 👏   #DeepDriveRide

Meet Felix, our member of the software team at DeepDrive. He pursued both his Bachelor and Master degrees in Electrical Engineering at Technical University of Munich, laying the foundation for his career in the EV industry. At Infineon Technologies, he worked on low-voltage inverters, guided by Christopher, who later in 2021 became a co-founder and software specialist at DeepDrive. During his student years, Felix also lent his abilities to the TUfast e.V. Racing Team during the Formula Student Germany competition and with a collective effort, the team secured second place. His adventure continued with BMW Group’s Fast Lane program, taking him to Silicon Valley and deeper into the automotive world. This path led him straight to DeepDrive, attracted by its innovative spirit and teamwork. Now, Felix's work focuses on enhancing electric vehicle software, striving to make them more efficient and dependable. His role involves leveraging his coding skills and technical knowledge to advance electric vehicle capabilities. The curtains have closed on this year’s International Vienna Motor Symposium, and what an inaugural showcase it has been for DeepDrive! Teaming up with Continental, we dove into the deep end, engaging with automotive engineering mavens and presenting the advancements we’re driving forward.   A huge thanks to the organisers for a seamlessly executed event and a round of applause to all who stopped by our booth. We recently had the pleasure of hosting an enriching afternoon titled “Empowerment through Growth”, marking a belated observance of Women’s Day. It was really great to support and encourage the talent and dedication of our female colleagues.   A huge shoutout to Inga G. Grieger, Business Development Manager from BMW i Ventures, Amanda Birkenholz, Principal at UVC Partners—both key supporters of DeepDrive—for dedicating their afternoon to us. Their insights and successes were truly inspiring, offering valuable guidance, especially on building professional networks and navigating salary and benefit negotiations.   Kudos to our Co-CEO Felix for his inspiring opening words, which perfectly captured the spirit of the event. The International Vienna Motor Symposium is an essential annual event that brings together over 1,000 leaders from the global automotive engineering industry.   This year, from 24th to 26th April, we will showcase our latest innovations, all stemming from our patented Dual Rotor technology. Among the exhibits, we're excited to present the Drive-Brake Unit, a product of our collaboration with Continental, combining our innovative In-wheel motor technology with their advanced braking system.
