Our school was founded in 1892 as an all-girl school and did not start welcoming boys until the late 1980s. Nowadays it is mixed with an equal male-female ratio and offers a wide range of subjects, including an important focus on modern languages and intercultural exchange schemes.

A Vision Shared - Promoting the UN Sustainable Development Goals in and beyond schools

The Start of the Project

Driven by the Winds of Change of the Friday for Future Movement and inspired by the last meeting of our former Erasmus Project "Owning the Future" and its echo in the Media we set sails for the new Erasmus project

"A Vision Shared - Promoting the UN Sustainable Development Goals in and beyond Schools"

Next Steps and Future Projects

We used the platform of the Just Kids Festival (www.pop-poetry.de) to present the highlights of our international poetry workshop with the Munich Lyrik Kabinett.

Final version

As the COVID-19 Lockdown had shattered all our dreams and plans to organize our MT-Erasmus School Film Festival

we cooperated with the Open Air Lechflimmern and offered a Love Project to all our upper classes, inviting them to movies, concerts and poetry readings in the very last days of the school year.

Plant for the Planet:

500 Trees planted to fight climate change

After all the digital activities during the long Corona lockdown we were very happy to finally suit the action to the word! In cooperation with the Forest Department of the City of Augsburg, the Augsburg Environmental Station and the Begabungstag Augsburg our pupils planted 500 trees and donated 2000 Euros for this Plant-for-the-Planet Project.

Plant for the Planet

We also presented our Let it Bee song which ever since has become Talk of the Town and has even conquered international hit lists!

Inspired by the success of our Let it bee song our MT school Radio reported on our School Bees

Even if not all our Visions - like the Kino & Klima film festivals - could be realized because of the long lasting Corona Lockdown we have tried to share and implement impulses and ideas in and beyond our school motivating pupils, parents and politicians to keep marching on the SDG road for a better world and for the sake of our planet!
