The Byanyas Project is an initiative for the Napsan region of Palawan in the Republic of the Philippines. The program‘s initiators believe that human welfare is inseparable from societal health and environmental health (at both global and local Ievels). This Program intends to preserve one of the most endemic regions in the world, as well as the heritage of the indigenous Tagbanua tribe - if no actions are taken, these will both disappear and the impact is global. Our central focus is on protecting and maintaining local natural resources and species diversity, Our goal is to support the development of a stable local society and economy, working particularly with the local Tagbanua tribal population.
